Experience the renowned Oktoberfest from September 16th to October 3rd on the Theresienwiese. Spanning 18 days this year, the 188th edition guarantees an extended celebration. Mayor Dieter Reiter will kick off festivities with the traditional barrel tapping at Schottenhamel Festival Hall on September 16 at 12 noon.

The sprawling 34.5-hectare festival grounds host 474 approved businesses, including 140 caterers, 138 fairground vendors, 196 market traders, and more. Oidn Wiesn features 39 establishments, comprising 14 gastronomic, 23 showmen’s stalls, and two market traders.
Oktoberfest Offerings: Beer and Cuisine
In 17 festival halls boasting around 120,000 seats, relish special Oktoberfest brews from six traditional Munich breweries. A variety of dishes, from classic to vegan, are available across 39 gastronomic businesses. Mass Fest bier prices range from 12.60 to 14.90 euros, with non-alcoholic beverages averaging 10.04 euros per liter for water, and 11.65 euros for soft drinks and lemonade.

This year introduces innovative changes. Hosts now have online portals for exchanging or selling unused reservations at original prices. Menu requirements for table reservations are eliminated, with a minimum consumption of two liters of beer and half a roast chicken in main aisles.
